Intelligence. Strategy. Diplomacy.
Get ahead of the world.

Services
Geopolitical risk now shapes markets, supply chains, regulation, technology access, financing conditions and corporate strategy. For most organisations, the question is no longer whether geopolitics matters – it’s whether they have the structures and expertise to govern it systematically.
Most do not. Geopolitical risk remains poorly mapped, inconsistently monitored and rarely quantified with the same rigour organisations apply to other forms of risk.
Geopolitical Strategy was founded by former diplomats to bring that capability directly to boards, CEOs and leadership teams. We provide intelligence, strategy and diplomacy services, supported by our daily client briefing, Geopolitical Dispatch.
Strategy
Translating geopolitical uncertainty into strategic judgement.
Most organisations are exposed to geopolitical risk long before they realise it. Identifying where the gaps are – and what to do about them – is what our strategy work with leaders is designed to do.
Through structured workshops, scenario planning, exposure mapping, risk assessment and crisis simulations, we help organisations understand how geopolitical change could affect their markets, operations, assumptions and choices.
Services include:
- Scenario planning – building plausible geopolitical futures and stress-testing strategy against them
- Exposure mapping – identifying where geopolitical risk reaches the organisation through markets, supply chains, regulation, technology, capital or counterparties
- Geopolitical risk quantification – translating exposures into board-ready risk registers with probability, impact and materiality assessments
- Crisis simulations – testing executive readiness under realistic geopolitical disruption before events force the issue
- Strategy offsites – half-day, full-day and multi-day leadership sessions designed to align executive teams around geopolitical uncertainty and strategic response
Intelligence
Helping leaders see the world with clarity.
In a noisy world, the hardest task is often not finding information but knowing what information matters.
We help boards and leadership teams know what to watch, what to ignore and how to interpret the geopolitical signals that matter – going beyond the headlines to identify the opportunities and risks that desktop research and academic analysis rarely surface.
Services include:
- Key intelligence requirements workshops – defining the geopolitical questions, indicators and watchpoints most relevant to your organisation
- Executive briefings on major developments, crises, elections and strategic shifts
- Keynote addresses and speeches for boards, conferences and leadership forums
- Geopolitical Dispatch, our daily strategic intelligence briefing for business leaders – with GD Corporate Memberships available for organisations seeking a shared geopolitical baseline across their leadership team
Diplomacy
Shaping outcomes on global issues.
For organisations engaging with governments, international institutions or trade processes, knowing how decisions are made – and who makes them – is rarely visible from the outside.
We draw on the experience of former diplomats, ambassadors and trade negotiators who have operated inside these institutions and retain active relationships with decision-makers to help clients engage with confidence, influence outcomes and navigate politically sensitive issues with tact and discretion.
Services include:
- International engagement – advising on how to navigate multilateral institutions, treaty negotiations, trade processes and diplomatic forums
- Event preparation – briefing boards and executive teams ahead of summits, trade missions, investment conferences and high-level meetings
- Country immersion programs – structured visits designed to give leadership teams a grounded understanding of a market, region or geopolitical environment from the inside
